‘To inform friends and colleagues of the sudden death of Frank Krethlow on 10th June.
Frank was the Senior Technical Adviser for Courtaulds Acetate (with a long and varied career with the company) until his retirement in approx 93/94 and a contemporary of Gordon Campbell, Rupert Firmin and Dorothy Burrows (his 2nd wife). Franks funeral will be at Markeaton Cemetery on 26th June at 1:00pm, ex colleagues are welcome.’

I am sorry to inform you of the death of my father on 26th April 2014. The following arrangements have been made to celebrate his life. Everyone is welcome.
A Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm on 9th May 2014 to be held at The Parish Church of St. Mary and St. Bartholomew in Hampton In Adren, West Midlands B92 0AE. A reception will follow at Hampton Manor, Shadowbrook Ln, Hampton in Arden, Solihull, West Midlands B92 0DQ.

Thank you to Paul and Caron for organising everything. Good to see people there that I haven’t seen for 16-25years!
Another fine do!
Another year and another reunion. A very successful event. Already several people are saying that they hope to come along to another one next year.
The venue and format seem to work, however, if you have any comments or suggestions please let either Caron or Paul know.
If anyone has pictures of other events that were held at Courtaulds plc, Christmas Parties, Summer Parties, any ephemera from the company we’d like to hear from you.

Courtaulds Reunion III – February 27th 2014
A date for your diaries, the third Reunion is being planned and will take place on Thursday 27th February 2014, from 4.00 p.m. till 8.00 p.m. at the Pizza Express, Bruton Place, London, W1. This time the cost will be £20.00 per head.
Factory Fashion Show

Does anyone remember wh
at year a Fashion show was held on the factory floor, with Ben Jackson and two models.? A fashion show was also held at a local school. The newspaper photo was put on the ‘Skelmersdale Heritage Society’ site.on the ‘Notice Board.’ and ,I believe on this site somewhere.
