It is with sadness that we learn of the death of Karen Elsden, Her husband Brian wrote this on the 16th September 2018:
Hi All,
Yesterday my darling sweet wife Karen went to a better place. She finally gave up the fight against the F_ _ _ _ _G cancer at 2.30 pm.
I was with her and Mary, her best friend, along with Mary’s two daughters Tracy, Tanya and granddaughter Chloe, whom we regard as our family.
She has left us with many, many pleasant memories of our life together, it would have been our 47th wedding anniversary on the 18th September, but it wasn’t to be. I didn’t realise how much I loved her and will miss her more than I ever imagined.
I will let you know the arrangements for her funeral when I have finalised the details
