On Monday 8th October 2012, Liz died at her home after a long illness.
A few words from friends:
Very sad. A real character – even capable, as she showed, of taking on the Soviet Union. She was known and respected throughout the fibres and textiles industry.
A unique bod – and one of the original ‘Courtaulds Girls’ of the ‘eighties. Lots of laughs!
There was always a spell at hand to deal with any problem.
So sad to see ….. Liz let me share her flat in Islington (weekdays) when I was moved back to London in the early 90’s to work at Grimaldi House for textiles lingerie. Fun times!
