Since it was such a success, so many of you sent notes of thanks saying just that, we thought it would be good to put together some more informal events.
The idea would be to meet up at a pre-determined place and time, we all make our own way to the venue, no fixed plan. Some suggestions:
- Eltham Palace Visit, culminating in a lunch or afternoon tea at a local hostelry.
- Theatre in the Park, evening theatre in Regents park, with maybe a picnic before.
- Eurostar Day Trip to Paris, early morning train returning after a day in France’s Capital city.
One definite date for the diary! Costs will probably be the same. We will try to book the same venue too.
- Courtaulds Reunion II – Q1 2013. Dates TBC
Wonderful to be in touch with Courtaulds friends, both through the website and email contact with Bernie Gregory, Yael Drive, Amanda H-C and Michael Foulsham. Probably won’t be able to make it in Jan 2013 beacuse of what Australians call ‘tyranny of distance’ but would look forward to 2014, especially if held in northern spring!
