Courtaulds Reunion IV – Check again for dates
Following our three successful reunions we’ve decided to do another one but hold it slightly later in the year. We’re hoping to set dates for later in the year. We will try to hold it at the same venue. Watch this space.
Please check the snapshots as there are many more photographs uploaded from parties held at Courtaulds over the years.
If you have any content you would like to have published please leave a comment so that we can get back to you.
Courtaulds and the Hosiery & Knitwear Industry (Book by Bramwell G. Rudd)
That all went rather well, didn’t it?
Fantastic! Splendid! Very successful! Wonderful! Resounding Success! Extremely good value! Long may it continue!
Just a few of the comments received since the “party” all the comments suggest that there will be enough interest to hold another.
It was mentioned that some may be interested to know about a book available on Amazon The Rise and Fall of Great Companies: Courtaulds and the Reshaping of the Man-Made Fibres Industry (Pasold Studies in Textile History) Geoffrey Owen (Author) Click on Information above for the review.
Thank you to everyone who has sent messages of thanks and encouragement, it was a great pleasure and indeed all made very worthwhile when everyone arrived. A special thank you to Heather Nash who travelled all the way from Canberra, Australia to be with us.
Today’s the Day!
With only hours to go just time for a quick update.
The list of attendees are the colleagues who have said they will be coming, so you should see them this afternoon/evening. As you can see from the list there are around 60 people. The interest has been amazing.
One or two people have said they can’t come for one reason or another and would like to be remembered to everyone they are:
